Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign in, our authentication provider (Clerk) processes your email address, name, and — if you use a social login — the basic profile your chosen provider returns. We use this to create and secure your account.

Fantasy league connections. If you connect a Yahoo league, you grant read-only access through Yahoo’s official OAuth flow; we store the resulting access tokens and the league data Yahoo’s API returns (rosters, ownership %, scoring settings, matchups). If you connect a Fantrax league, we store the league ID you provide and the public league data Fantrax returns. We never see or store your Yahoo or Fantrax password.

Content you submit. Comments you post, and your email address if you subscribe to the newsletter.

Usage & device data. Like most sites, our hosting and analytics providers automatically receive your IP address, browser/device type, referring page, and the pages you view. We use privacy-focused product analytics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) to understand aggregate traffic and performance.

Cookies & local storage. We use a small number of cookies and browser storage entries for essential functions (keeping you signed in, remembering preferences such as your selected league). When advertising is enabled, our ad partner also sets cookies (see §4). See §6 for how to control these.

• Provide the Site’s features — including league-aware tools that require your connected roster.
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Send the newsletter and transactional emails (only if you opt in).
• Moderate comments (we use Anthropic’s Claude API to screen for spam/abuse; comment content is not sold or used to train models).
• Measure and improve performance and content in aggregate.
• Display advertising and affiliate offers, and understand their performance.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your connected-league data for anything other than delivering the features you requested.

The Site displays advertising, including through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

• Google’s use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to the Site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU/UK).
• We do not control the cookies set by advertising partners; their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, including Google’s policy.

Some links on the Site are affiliate or referral links — including to daily-fantasy and sportsbook partners. If you sign up or make a purchase through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We share data only with the providers needed to run the Site, each acting under its own privacy terms:

• Clerk — authentication & account management.
• Vercel — hosting, analytics, performance monitoring.
• Supabase — database & file storage.
• Yahoo & Fantrax — only when you connect a league, and only via their official APIs.
• Google AdSense — advertising (when enabled).
• Resend — newsletter & email delivery.
• Anthropic — automated comment moderation.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

• Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential features (like staying signed in) may stop working if you do.
• Personalized ads. Use the opt-out links in §3.
• Newsletter. Unsubscribe any time via the link in any email.
• Disconnect a league. You can revoke Yahoo access in your Yahoo account settings and remove a Fantrax connection in the Site.
• Account deletion. Email us to delete your account and associated data.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email us at b.lands16@gmail.com; we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Site and for legitimate legal or operational purposes, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Certain advertising and affiliate content relating to fantasy sports or sportsbooks is intended only for adults of legal age (21+) in eligible jurisdictions.

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from yours.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, a notice on the Site.
