Playing Time TrendsL5

Find emerging starters before they hit the box score. Anchored on TEAM games.

How this works
For each player we pull their team's last 2×N games and split into current N (most recent) vs previous N (one window before). A player who sat out 4 of his team's last 5 = 1 GP / few PA — not 5 GP just because he had 5 logs scattered over months.

How to read

L5 PA / Prev PA — plate appearances in the player's team's last 5 games vs the 5 before that. A bench player who didn't play scores 0 PA / 0 GP — the window is anchored on TEAM games, not player appearances. L5 GP / Prev GP = games started or pinch-hit in those team games (formatted as x/5). Last 2×5 = per-game PA sparkline (oldest left, newest right). Δ % = ((current − previous) / previous) × 100. Slot = current avg batting-order spot; (X) is the prior-window slot.
